Fresh and Fast: Taylor to Highlight Convenience Store Solutions at NACS Show

Fresh and fast is the order of the day for convenience stores as they vie for a share of the foodservice business. The Taylor Company will showcase its latest high-tech solutions to help convenience stores meet those goals at the 2016 National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Show in Atlanta, Georgia. The Taylor® Crown™ Grill Series offers an array of benefits when preparing made-to-order foods. The programmable, easy-to-use, innovative design of the grill allows for high throughput. The cooking parameters of the menu items are programmed into the award-winning grills, streamlining the operation. And because of its intuitive touchscreen interface and precise temperature control, it requires minimal training to consistently and quickly produce perfectly cooked foods.
This year at NACS, attendees can watch as Taylor Company Chef John Reed demonstrates the efficiency of two-sided cooking on Taylor grills with made-to-order burgers and gourmet sandwiches. Two-sided cooking speeds up cooking times, whether for all-day breakfast or burgers, and with the grill’s multi-zone cooking feature and programmed menu, operators can cook more than one item at a time quickly and simply.
Demos of the following equipment and samples of on-trend flavors and products will be available in the Taylor Company booth 6601:
- The MagnaBlend® Pro Blended Frozen Beverage Station has a nine-second blend time, which keeps orders moving efficiently. Attendees can sample different daypart specific beverages from watermelon/raspberry smoothies to mochas.
- Taylor frozen beverage dispensers are available in 1-, 2- and 3-barrel models and several styles — from small countertop footprints to freestanding floor models, designed to handle high volumes. Frozen fruit-flavored teas will be sampled from the popular Taylor model 432.
- Taylor soft serve freezers are available in single and multi-flavor units. The machines are designed to handle the busiest dayparts with quick recovery for consistently frozen product. A variety of flavors—both perennial favorites and seasonal specialties—will be sampled daily at the show.
