Determine the age of your equipment...The serial number located on the data label will provide this infomation. The first digit is a letter (K = 2000) which represents the decade. The second digit (1 = 2001) represents the year. The third and fourth digits (03 = March) represent the month of the year. The last four digits are for factory use. The model in this example was built in March of the year 2001.
