Gelato Equipment Success Story

11/12/2006 - Gelato Joe's Takes Off in Cullman, AL
Cullman is located in the heart of North Alabama and centrally positioned on Interstate 65 between two of the state’s largest cities, Huntsville and Birmingham. Cullman is just close enough to the bustle of the big city for convenience and far enough away from the bright lights to give residents peace of mind and a feel for the slow, relaxed ways of life in the country.

One of the most popular places to dine in this small town is Rumors Deli, and when Annette Harris decided to expand the people of Cullman could not have been more excited. Annette went all over the country, from Las Vegas to North Carolina looking for just the right look and feel for Gelato Joe's and it has definitely paid off.

When asked how Gelato was going in Cullman, Annette said "We opened on Wednesday morning and have been busy ever since. I started out with 18 full pans on Wednesday and by Saturday night I had made 18 more" she also added " I'd say gelato is a hit in Cullman. Everyone LOVES it".

Next time your anywhere near Cullman, Alabama stop into Gelato Joe's and have a few scoops.

Milkshake Success Story
12/18/2006 - Tres Conejitos
Tres Conejitos Cafeteria (Three Rabbits Bakery) is a family owned business located in the predominately hispanic neighborhood of Hialeah. After having been open for 4 years Ernesto & Alba Ana decided to expand their menu by offering shakes along with their pastries and sandwiches. Ernest decided on a Taylor 432 double head counter top space saving unit. The more popular choice “mantecado” is an egg-based vanilla flavored Cuban favorite selling 20 to 30 servings daily. the other side is loaded with a vanilla base which gives the customer a neutral base in which they can add a variety of “add-ins” to create the shake of their choice.

“Business is very busy. The shakes have become so popular we are considering remodeling our store to accommodate soft-serve ice cream as well.”

Soft Serve Equipment Success Story

12/18/2004 - What a Success!

We have been in business for ten years in a town with a population of 880 people. We started out with a Taylor Model 751 and a four flavor Flavor Burst. That program was so successful that we outgrew it.

Naturally, we looked to Taylor of Oklahoma to provide our next soft serve program.

We purchased a Taylor Model C706 and a Flavor Burst Model FBCC8-08 candy factory. The equipment is quite attractive and easy to operate.

Right from the start sales have been tremendous. We are very excited to offer our customers a new top of the line product.

We recommend Taylor equipment! Their highly trained sales and service staff have been crucial to our success.
